The Junior Explorer program is designed as an introductory program to the game of soccer for players aged between U4 - U6.

FC MINNESOTA offers several locations of recreational soccer.

Quick facts about our Jr. Explorer soccer program for U4 - U6.

• Season:  6 weeks

  • 2nd Monday in September to 3rd Friday in October

• Programs Offered:

  • U4 - Children will play 3 v 3 with no goal keepers - Size 3 ball

  • U5 - Children will play 4 v 4 with no goal keepers - Size 3 ball

  • U6 - Children will play 5 v 5 with a goal keeper - Size 3 ball

• Primary Practice & Game Location:

  • TBD - Alternate nearby fields may be utilized if necessary

• Practice Days:

  • May be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, dependent on requests/availability.

• Game Days:

  • Saturday

• End of Season Jamboree will take place on 1st game day in October weather permitting. Please plan at least 3 hours for the Jamboree.

• Cost -

  • ​$TBD includes a full uniform, ball and memorabilia prize for all children. Costs to be finalized in Spring, 2021.

  • No refunds for individual registration cancellations after August 31st. Refunds subject to $40 administrative fee.
    • Volunteer to coach your child's team and receive a discount.

Our program utilizes 'PARENT VOLUNTEER FUN SPECIALISTS'! We recommend 2 parents from the team to help with practices and games. Without these 'fun specialists', the kids will possibly not be able to play! Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team. You can volunteer during registration and we offer discounted registration!

All FUN Specialists will receive training session plans and an introductory manual to guide them through the season.

Our programs are TEAM-BASED, OPEN ENROLLMENT programs! There are no tryouts or evaluations for our Junior Explorers programs.
